Linde Snoek

Linde received her MD at the University of Amsterdam in 2019 and worked as a resident at the Paedatric Department at a large, regional hospital in Almere. Since 2020, she is a PhD candidate at the Neuroinfections Amsterdam research group in the Amsterdam UMC. The main focus of her research are neonatal infections, mainly those caused by GBS. An important research goal is to better understand and predict these infections. Another important goal is measuring GBS-specific antibodies in blood to facilitate the development of a maternal GBS vaccine. In 2024 she started her general practitioner residency.
