Protocols

The treatment of patients with neurological infectious or inflammatory diseases is often multidisciplinary, involving neurologists, infectious disease specialists, microbiologists, pediatricians and ICU specialists. The Dutch Neurology Association (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Neurologie), Dutch Working Party on Antibiotic Policy (SWAB) and the Federation of Medical Specialists (FMS) have developed several guidelines on neurological in infections that you can find on this page. Furthermore through this website you have access to the local Amsterdam UMC protocols, which were developed by the neurological infectious diseases department.
