Ana Carolina da Cruz Campos studied Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Microbiology at the Rio de Janeiro State University in Brazil and received her degree in 2013. After she received her Master’s in microbiology from the same institution. She pursued a double Ph.D. in medical and molecular microbiology at Groningen University. Since 2021, Ana works in the Neuroinfections group as a research analyst.
